Tim Stevens
Tim Stevens is a lifelong conservationist. He was born in Illinois and attended Colorado State University. After graduating he worked for the National Wildlife Federation. He moved to Montana in 1994 to work for The Greater Yellowstone Coalition and currently works as the Yellowstone Program manager with the National Parks and Conservation Association in Livingston and serves on the board of Restoring Eden, a faith based conservation group.
Tim and his wife Amy Titgemeier got involved with MCV about five years ago after learning about it through personal contacts. Tim is enthusiastic about the group because he feels it is necessary for such an organization to exist in order to hold our legislators accountable. “Conservation is embedded in our life,” says Tim. “How we treat the earth and its creatures comes back to us in our survival. How we treat our air and water affects us and our children.”
Tim spends a lot of time enjoying the outdoors with Amy and their three children running, camping, hiking, biking, and skiing. He appreciates how much of Montana’s wildlife and natural environment is still present and how close he is to trails, rivers, and Yellowstone Park.
