Betty Stroock
A longtime Bozeman resident, Betty has a geology background and a long career consulting on natural resource and water quality issues.
Betty helped expose the flawed New World Mine proposal, near Yellowstone Park, successfully protecting this national treasure. She also penned a report on water resources of the Gallatin Valley that has long been used by water planners.
An avid outdoorswoman and biathlete, Betty is a strong advocate for bike and pedestrian trails and open space preservation.
She just won her primary election. Her opponent, Eric Bryson, did not participate in MCV’s endorsement process.
