Montanans Deserve a Straight Answer on Stream Access

|

It was a big week on the road for the Bullock campaign last week, from Billings to Butte and places in between!

The week started in Billings with a candidate forum hosted by Yellowstone County Rotary Chapter. Steve's experience shined through, while his opponent got caught in his own web of exaggeration.  To learn more, click here

Each candidate was also asked to explain their position on the 2000 Attorney General Opinion that guaranteed stream access from bridge crossings.

-  As an assistant attorney general, Steve wrote the bridge opinion. Steve still supports it, and as our next Attorney General will work with county attorneys to ensure the opinion is followed.

-  Steve's opponent made sure to talk about private property, but did not answer the question.  Too bad, because Montana sportsmen deserve a straight answer on access.

While in Billings, Steve also met with local law enforcement representatives about his priorities as the next Attorney General, and shared some of those priorities with the local television station.  Click here to watch that interview.
