Cheryl Steenson is a great candidate for this downtown Kalispell district. Having grown up in the Flathead Valley, Cheryl is an adjunct English professor at Flathead Valley Community College. She also has earned a masters' degree in teaching from the University of Montana.
Steenson earned 67% of the vote in the Primary Election on June 3rd with an organized and energetic campaign. Steenson promises to set aside rigid partisanship and work to protect clean air and water and access to public land important to citizens in the Flathead Valley.
Cheryl will face Craig Witte (R), whose environmental vote ranks near the bottom at 8%, in the 2008 General Election battle.
