Ed Tinsley is a graduate of the University of Montana as well as the Montana Law Enforcement Academy. Prior to his election to County Commissioner in 2002, Ed worked as the Land Board Advisor and Senior Outreach Coordinator in the Montana State Auditors office and as the Chief of Enforcement for the Montana Securities Department.
Elected in 2002 with MCV's endorsement, Commissioner Tinsley has proven himself to be an outstanding elected official - and among the most conservation-minded of any commissioner in Montana.
With particular attention paid to water quality protection and community planning, Ed deserves the opportunity to continue his fine record of service in Lewis and Clark County.
He will face up against Derek Brown (R) in the Nov. 4 Election.
