As Montana’s Attorney General since 2000, Mike has always sought to protect our beloved constitutional right to a clean and healthy environment - a charge that we are convinced he will continue to uphold as Chief Justice.
As a member of the State Land Board, Mike has worked hard to guarantee access to state lands and his administration emphasized maintaining our clean air and water. He’s particularly proud of efforts to clean up the Clark Fork River and remove the Milltown Dam near Missoula.
In the fall, Mike faces Ron Waterman who participated in MCV’s process but was not endorsed.
