Rep. Paul Clark for SD7
Paul Clark is a term-limited former Representative known as a tireless champion of protecting healthy fish and wildlife populations and their habitat, public access for sportsmen, and clean air and water.
MCV has regularly featured bills he sponsored in its legislative scorecards, including bills to control mercury emissions, to prevent taxpayers from having to pay significant environmental review and mine reclamation costs, and to protect fish and wildlife and their habitats.
Paul served in the House from 1999 to 2006, where he was an outspoken leader on sportsmen’s issues, and an exceptionally effective voice as a rural conservationist. He is running for the open Senate seat previously held by Jim Elliott. He owns an outdoor youth counseling business.
Paul is opposed in the fall election by Republican Greg Hinkle.
