Rep. Dave McAlpin for HD94
Incumbent Dave McAlpin is seeking his third term in the House, and in his role as Minority Whip was an important member of Democratic House leadership in 2007.
A strong health advocate, he sponsored a bill to reduce exposure to the toxic flame retardant ingredient, PBDE, shepherded a bill through the House to enforce local zoning and protect neighborhood character, and twice has proposed measures to fund and improve waste recycling.
He has a 100% MCV voting record, is a member of the legislative climate change caucus and a member of the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators. Dave is the executive director of CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) of Missoula; he is being challenged by Republican Linda Frey.
