A veteran of the war in Iraq and a recent University of Montana graduate, Kevin Furey is running for re-election to the Montana State Legislature. Rep. Furey demonstrated an outstanding level of commitment to conservation in his district, earning a 100% on the 2005 MCV Scorecard. In addition, he helped start the Friends of Two Rivers, a Milltown and Bonner-based non-profit that encouraged removal of toxic mining sediments from the Clark Fork River, and helped spur a multi-million dollar redevelopment project on the upper Clark Fork. Kevin currently works to improve and protect native fisheries with Montana Trout Unlimited.
