Mayor Cris Coughlin
Cris has a proven conservation record as acting mayor of Whitefish and was endorsed by MCV in her successful 2003 bid for City Council.
She works hard to maintain the special small-town character that makes Whitefish a great place to live, work and raise a family. Increased outside development pressures and skyrocketing real estate prices, have squeezed working people and the environment.
Cris is uniquely positioned to lead in this complicated era, as owner of a small-business dependent on clean water.
She is challenged by current councilman Nick Palmer (MCV ‘05 endorsee), and Mike Jenson on Election Day, both of whom took part in MCV’s endorsement process.
