Gallatin-Park Chapter’s 6th Annual Meeting & Dessert Auction
A New Year means… New opportunities to help the environment and serve your community!
MCV Gallatin-Park Chapter - Seeking Chapter Officers
Each year, at the Gallatin-Park Chapter’s annual meeting, local MCV members vote for new chapter officers, who advise and steer the chapter’s activities during one-year terms.
Gallatin-Park members will soon receive information about nominees for officer positions and our 6th Annual Meeting, which is fast approaching on Sunday, February 25th · 5-7p.m. · Lindley Center · Bozeman.
Positions are currently open for two officer positions. The Gallatin-Park Chapter would appreciate having an officer from Park County this year, to represent this county and the City of Livingston in all of our chapter and electoral activities.
The chapter meets four times a year, with officers meeting occasionally between those times. Chapter officer time commitments generally range between 4-12 hours per month.
Some of the chapter officer duties include:
- Calling and presiding over chapter meetings;
- Coordinating meeting agendas;
- Recording members’ votes and decisions at meetings;
- Assisting with chapter electoral activities, candidate recruitment and endorsement decisions;
- Liaising with the MCV State Board of Directors.
MCV’s team of Gallatin-Park chapter officers is a dedicated group of people who are passionate about protecting Montana’s environment and have fun doing so! If you are interested in nominating someone for an officer position, or are interested in running for a position yourself, please contact:
