OVERVIEW
Over half of Montanans hunt and or fish—it’s a major part of our way of life. But climate change threatens this form of recreation and food sources we depend on. Join T.O. Smith, Bureau Chief with Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks, for a presentation on how climate change is impacting our fish and game species, and how the state is crafting a management response to safeguard Montana’s outdoor heritage.
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
T.O. Smith has been with Montanan Fish Wildlife and Parks for over 7 years, where he serves as a Bureau Chief and leads the state’s effort to craft a management response to climate change. Before coming to Montana, Mr. Smith spent 5 years with Texas Parks and Wildlife, and 5 years as a U.S. Congressional Aide. Mr. Smith has degrees in Political Science and Fisheries Biology, and a Masters Degree in Wildlife Ecology.
