Meetings are held on the dates listed from noon to 1pm at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 310 N 27th Street in downtown Billings.

MCV invites you to come to a showing of the Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary, Gasland, Tuesday, January 25th at 6:30 p.m. The film, which takes a look at how communities across the United states are impacted by natural gas drilling, will play at Emerson Theater, 111 S. Grand Ave., Bozeman. The cost is $5.00 at the door.

The Blackfoot Challenge is sponsoring an evening public meeting on the Exxon KMTP for Thursday, February 17th from 7-9 PM at the Ovando school gymnasium. The meeting will consist of an hour-long panel discussion moderated by Blackfoot Challenge board chair, Jim Stone, with speakers including UM Economist Steve Seninger, Missoula Attorney Bob Gentry.

Some of the largest oil companies in the world are currently transporting gargantuan mining equipment to the Alberta Tar Sands through wild Idaho and Montana on narrow, avalanche-prone roads that run alongside iconic trout rivers and the Crown of the Continent wilderness complex.
