Appreciative conservation candidates

As a former vice chair of the House Judiciary and Fish, Wildlife and Parks Committees, and a member of the Natural Resources Committee, I earned the reputation as a strong advocate for the preservation of our constitutional rights, policies that promote wildlife conservation, access to public lands, our right to a clean and healthy environment and the protection of civil rights for all Montanans.

There is a lot of work still to be done… promoting clean industry that provides jobs that offer a living wage, conserving and protecting our invaluable natural resources, and promoting energy efficiency and alternative fuels, to name just a few of the challenges. When I am elected, I will continue to support responsible public policy that works for all Montanans, not just the privileged few.

I wish to thank Montana's Conservation Voters for their strong support of my candidacy for state senate district 7. MCV helped tip the balance in my favor during this year's primary election by mobilizing voters in my district and working hard to support my campaign. MCV support has helped ensure that the voice of the conservation community in Montana will be loud and clear in Helena next January. 

Billings Mayor Ron Tussing is a strong conservation candidate for the Public Service Comisssion in 2008.  Endorsed by MCV in both his run for mayor, and now for the PSC, he has really valued the backing.
